Should you
buy your new kitchen cabinets online or go to the local store? That’s the
dilemma. Day a day, the number of people going for the online store is
increasing. So why is that? Well first of all, it’s a lot cheaper. Most online
stores sell RTA (ready to assemble) cabinets and that alone lowers the price;
not to mention they save a lot of money from rent since they don’t have a
physical store and those savings are passed on to their customers! But more
than that, I have found a few advantages of buying cabinets online.
When you go
to any store, regardless of what they are selling, they usually have most
products in display but they have others in a warehouse or something like that
and maybe that’s why you can’t find something you like. Often times I go to a
store without finding anything I like, and then I go home and look at their
online store and find so many more products! Plus it saves you a lot of time.
You can go through an entire website in just a few minutes but going through
every product inside a physical store would take hours! Not to mention you’ll
have to be dealing with people and I personally don’t like crowded places and
hate standing in line to check out.
Now let’s
talk possible disadvantages. Of course most people would suggest that they
don’t feel comfortable buying online because they don’t get to see the quality
of the wood or the color, as often times colors look a lot different in the
computer than they do in real life. However, most online cabinet stores offer
free samples so their customers can see the material and the color.
Overall I
think shopping for cabinets online is the new trend and if you haven’t done it
yet, you should definitely try it out next time you are thinking of renewing
your kitchen. You’ll be surprised by how much you’ll be able to save!
